Pastors & Principals Partnership Breakfast

At the end of the day, we believe that churches should serve and support public schools, because despite their best efforts, the people educating our children cannot do it alone. And more than anything—kids matter.

Dear Faith-based Leader,

Duval County Public Schools, in partnership with Transform Jacksonville, cordially invites you to a Faithbased Partnership Breakfast with the Superintendent of Schools and community leaders on Thursday, February 21st, 2019 at 7:30a.m. at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville located at 119 W. Beaver Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202. As faith-based organizations are an integral part of the community, it is important that they be involved in providing wraparound services to students.

Thus, the focus of this meeting will be to promote the involvement of faith-based partners and to connect principals directly to those faith-based leaders within their school communities to support us in ensuring the success of our students. Information will also be shared about various district initiatives.

With your support, together we can impact the level of services provided to our students and their parents to raise student achievement. For additional information, please contact Brandon Mack, Supervisor of Family and Community Engagement at mackb@duvalschools.org or by telephone at (904) 390-2960.

Again, we look forward to partnering with you as we ensure every student is inspired and prepared for success in college, a career, and in life. I hope that you will join us and I look forward to the development of future partnerships.

Sincerely,

Diana L. Greene, Ph.D.
Superintendent of Schools
